Scrap cars

Scrap cars are accepted free of charge at our waste treatment centre. Our service includes the removal of your car from the register. We will issue you with a certificate of destruction, which will end your liability for the car.

A CHECKLIST FOR THE HANDOVER OF YOUR CAR FOR SCRAPPING:

• Find the car’s registration certificate (registration document), if the car is not in your name, find the bill of sale/certificate of transfer
• If you are not the owner of the car; ask the owner for a power of attorney.
• If you are not the owner of the vehicle or if you are the owner of the vehicle, take identification (e.g. driving licence).
